Stakeholderz first investee company, Vortex IoT acquired by Marston Holdings
Vortex IOT Ltd., the first investee company of Stakeholderz in 2018 has been acquired by Marston Holdings Ltd., a traffic enforcement and smart city tech business.
UK-based, Vortex IoT, was founded by CEO Adrian Sutton and CTO Behzad Heravi. In only four years it has become the leading developer of hyperlocal air quality monitoring technology as well as developing several innovative and market-first solutions to capture real-time data in urban environments making it a leader in the rollout of smart city technology solutions.
Dave Seaton, the outgoing Chairman of Vortex IOT commented:
“The involvement of Stakeholderz at such an early and therefore crucial point of our journey was pivotal in providing a catalyst for our subsequent success. Their help and support to validate our first funding round valuation and prepare a robust data room was invaluable as was the rigour of their presentation preparation.”
Dermot Hill, CEO of Stakeholderz states:
“Vortex came to us with a clear vision a great management team and some proof-of-concept clients seeking innovative solutions in the IoT space. The part that we delivered was centered on fair valuations and investor readiness and investor marketing. The progression of Vortex is testimony to the deep-tech they are offering, the innovation they demonstrate in solving challenges in the monitoring space and we wish them every success on-going. This was an exceptional return for our investors in a very short time frame and all the more pleasing because this was the first venture we published for funding in mid-2018.”
